About Chadwicks
Situated in a quiet village on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors, Chadwicks Inn Maltby is a traditional country pub with an award-winning restaurant.
A 19th Century public house retaining original features such as the stone fireplace and beams. The pub (originally the Half Moon Inn) was taken over following the 2nd World War by an RAF mosquito pilot named John Liddle, who renamed it The Pathfinders in honour of the pilots and the proximity to the nearby Thornaby airfields. Original memorabilia, including Mr Liddle's portrait and commendations, are still on display in the pub today.
We look forward to welcoming locals, regulars and newcomers alike to enjoy our warm hospitality.
